Joseph Reitman has appeared in over 50 episodes of television including recurring roles on Married with Children, Charmed, and The Shield, and roles on NCIS; LA, Ray Donovan, CSI Miami, CSI Las Vegas, Monk, Supernatural and also a series regular on Townies for ABC. He has also acted in over 30 films including The Perfect Storm, Clueless, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, American Pie 2, M. Night Shyamalan’s Lady In The Water, Crank 2, Money Monster, and Mom & Dad. Most recently he played the villain, Very Bad Santa, in the first season of the TV series “Happy!” for the SyFy channel.

 

On the other side of the camera Joe as a producer, created and co-produced the poker show Annie Duke Takes On The World for GSN, associate produced the indie film Ten Inch Hero, was a co-executive producer on “The Animated Cheech & Chong Movie”, and was proud to work as a segment producer for the CW’s Penn & Teller’s : Fool Us.

 

As a director Joe has created, written and directed numerous commercials, as well as created and directed comedy segments for CBS’s The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson which eventually lead to directing full episodes of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson for sweeps week which he shot all over the city of Paris.

 

Outside of Hollywood Joe played poker professionally from 2006 to 2011, competing in the World Series of Poker 5 times, as well as winning the Stone Cold Nuts Tournament online and beating out 2774 players to win $266,000. He also wrote a comic that was published by Marvel. Spiderman Unlimited #14, and was thrilled to be able to cross that off his bucket list.

 

Joe is also one of the co-founders of Animal Avengers with Shannon Elizabeth, which they started in 2001, and still serves on the board of directors. He feels that it is important to try and create content that informs people on the issues and dangers animals all around the world are facing daily. He, above all, also makes sure he finds time to play with his dogs Rocky and Adrian whenever possible.
